The Ski House of the Day is this beautiful slope-side ski house in Snowmass Village, Colorado:
The location is directly on the slopes in the Two Creeks area. What I like about direct access like this, is that not only can skiers be on the slopes of Snowmass effortlessly, but non-skiers can catch the action right out the window!
The house is a really nice combination of stone and log construction, both inside and out:
It has a gorgeous open kitchen (love all the wood in this kitchen especially that wood-paneled refrigerator and that breakfast bar!)...
...and stunning massive logs supporting the open living area:
The living room fireplace area looks like a warm and cozy space (even though that buffalo head dominating the mantle isn't exactly my cup of tea...okay, I guess it is Colorado...):
The master suite is a huge (over 1,000 sq. ft.) and beautiful retreat with a fireplace, sitting area, vaulted ceiling, more massive logs, access to a snowy patio with views, and a striking bathroom that echoes the log theme with elegance...
In addition to the master suite, this ski house has four other bedrooms...
...including a really nice bunk room with fantastic log beds and bright decor:
The lower level looks like a comfortable spot to relax in between runs or after skiing is done for the day...
...and apres-ski, those colorful ski posters on the wall and that little wine-bar tucked under the log stairway won't go unappreciated either!
